Gratitude, privately
Your entries stay on your phone.
Tend is a gratitude journal built around a simple constraint: the things you write are yours, and they do not leave the device you wrote them on.
What stays local. Every gratitude entry, every reflection, your profile and your settings live in storage on your phone. There is no account, no sync, and no server holding your words — so there is nothing for us to read, lose or hand over.
What leaves. To personalise a prompt, Tend sends anonymous context — a mood, a category, an age range — with your name replaced by "the person". It never sends what you actually wrote. The privacy policy lists this in full.
Getting help
Questions, a bug, or something that felt wrong in the app — the support page is the fastest route, and it reaches a person rather than a queue.
The documents
Privacy policy — what is stored, what is sent,
to whom, and how to get rid of all of it.
Terms of service — what Tend is, what it is not,
and the law it lives under.
